Sometimes, even in the norm, structure is a safety net as part of your living. Having a key structure of getting up and knowing exactly what you’re doing within the day holds a sense of reassurance. But some days, for whatever reason, the structure is lost. It leaves you with your thoughts, boredom and hopelessness. You look around at everyone who is moving at such a fast pace – managing to do things. But there you are moving so slowly. Looking at the time. Sometimes the frustration begins to kick in. The cycle is difficult to get out of as at the back of your mind it tricks you to believe it will stay like this. People mistake routine for being sat in a room for a certain amount of hours. But it’s more than that. Ordinarily it’s not what the routine consists of, but how steady and safe your subconscious mind is made through repetitive motions and expected outcomes. Routine is important as it creates a section of mood is created from you. Not only can it give us safety, it can give us a feeling of purpose. Right now, people are struggling to flow. Allowing all ideas of worries to come to the service.
When we don’t Seattle into routine, we teach ourselves that “fear” is an indicator that we are doing the wrong thing rather than being wrapped within the outcome. Fear of the unknown can become an overwhelming thought. We don’t know which way is which – or is something we have done before is going to be scary. But engaging with routines, we can comfort ourselves by consciously knowing we’ve done it before and we know how to do it. Your mind can lie to you by making you think and believe you won’t see structure again. But you are brave and and will keep fighting. Sometimes it feels as if the world is against you. You are unable to achieve what you put in front of yourself. But you need to remind yourself that you are achieving everyday. And you have your own pace. Even in the hardest times you can make this happen by forcing a structure to be there. No matter how big or small it is.

My doing so much and stretching yourself to far is not better. We sometimes fear we are unhappy because we’re not doing “enough”. But you “enough” is “enough”. You do not need to prove ANYTHING to you yourself. You and just you is “enough”. Your “fight and flight” is deactivated when you regulate your actions. This can sometimes be why you have difficulty with change. But it won’t always be like that forever. You will pick up routine again. You’ll get a sensation of content because routine will confirm all decisions you have second guest. Your body will self regulate. And your pathways will flow. You’ll be able to focus more on other things. Your mind shall worry less. The healthy balance will return. Your understanding of your self will develop. You will be ok. With time and support it will be ok. Structure will be reunited. No matter the case following a set of structure will help your steps forwards.
