TW- suicide
When the morning sun shone on my face.
I cried,
I fought,
I tried.
The demon screaming louder and louder. Consuming all that I felt was left of me.
I thought the day had come for me not to fight back.
All those dark days that surrounded me, the days that feel like forever.
Telling you all the things you fear will come true – the days where happiness is a distant feeling.
To curl up, shut of, to shut down. The smile that can no longer hide the tears. The mask in that has now crumbled away.

That little voice locked in the back felt the warmth of the morning sun. And with the little shimmer of light, that little grasp of hope I said –
I’m not going to go, not today. I would like to stay a little longer.
Its hard to convince someone that life is beautiful when they feel so out of control on there emotions.
But we can show up.
We can choose to care.
We can keep showing up.
We can keep reminding others that through the good, bad, in-between days, there is so much worth living for. To please reconsider, and that suicide is not the only option. I ask you to please take a few minutes and realise you won’t be going through hell forever.
“If the meaning of your life is lost, ask for help finding it”.
